Knee Pain

By Sarah Petty L. Ac., Dipl. Ac. on February 6th, 2012

“I’m not real sure what I had done to my knee-couldn’t remember twisting it or hitting it, but right after the holidays, I had a constant (24 hours a day) joint pain that caused me to limp as I walked. After two weeks of self treatment with ibuprofen to reduce self-diagnosed inflammation and pain, there had been no improvement at all. After one acupuncture treatment, the pain had lessened by 70% and the limp was starting to diminish. The day after the second session, I no longer had any pain and the limp, of course, was gone. These two treatments made all the difference in my recovery and my knee joint is once again normal.” –R.H.
